Product : Cloudiway FreeBusy between Gsuite and Office 365

Problem

When you are using the troubleshooting tool for coexistence, you receive the following message:

Error : System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed. Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL.TLS secure channel.

—> System.Security.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

 

 Troubleshooting

There are some steps you can take to resolve this situation:

  • you are probably using a proxy that breaks the security certificate or that goes to the wrong server: you can check which server is configured with the command:
    get−availabilityaddressspace | fl
  • check the event logs on the Exchange server for anything logged relating to this message
  • check the output of nslookup xxx.cloudiway.com (where xxx is the start of your Cloudiway URL)
  • check the output of ping xxx.cloudiway.com (where xxx is the start of your Cloudiway URL)
