Problem

When starting CloudAnywhere, you see the following error:
Access denied: number of licences exceeded. Please contact your vendor

Access denied error message

Cause

The licensing model of CloudAnywhere is per user pulled from the different sources.
CloudAnywhere has pulled more users from the source than the number of users authorized by the license.
Disabled or filtered users do not consume licenses.

Resolution

- Contact Cloudidway and buy additional licenses.
- If CloudAnywhere console is not locked, modify the configuration and pull the relevant list of users (you can modify the organizational units pulled, you can add filters,etc.).
- If the CloudAnywhere console is locked, you must edit the SQL database directly.
=> Open SQL studio manager.
=> Browse the CloudMGR database.
=> Go to the sourceusers table.
=> Delete as many rows as necessary to stay below the number of allocated licenses.
=> This will permit to restart the console. At this step you must reconfigure CloudAnywhere to pull a correct list of users or the problem will come back again.
